…is a joint effort between Roger Benton of Benton Custom (bentoncustom.com/) and yours truly –David Siegel of Boo- Coup (boo-coup.com/). Our project is focused on harnessing the natural beauty and potential of discarded chunks of lumber salvaged from old buildings and construction sites along the east coast. Enjoying the limited vocabulary of of slabs, blocks and chunks of wood, we take pride in offering unique, functional products that are beautiful, affordable & will make for lasting heirlooms. At A+G MERCH

As of May 1st ‘09 A+G MERCH carries our line of furnishings along with a select group of other brooklyn based artists and designers, and we are super excited.  A+G Merch (brought to you by the owners of The Future Perfect, another great store) is a hip, fresh home and furnishings store featuring as many brooklyn based vendors as possible and nothing but the coolest, most thoughtful and functional home necessities from vases to couches to desks to lighting. At the Bklyn Designs Show

Roger and I are super pleased to announce that RE-CO BKLYN, along with BENTON CUSTOM (Roger’s Line) and BOO-COUP (My bamboo line) have been selected as exhibitors at this years BKLYN DESIGNS show. Running May 8-10 at St Anne’s Warehouse in Dumbo and kicking off New York Design Week, this show is expected to pull roughly 6500 visitors over it’s weekend run. BKLYN DESIGNS is sponsored by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, as well as the likes of dwell magazine, Pratt Institute, New York Magazine and Benjamin Moore. A jury was appointed to select 45 of brooklyn’s top designers; the show will feature the hottest, freshest and most innovative contemporary furniture, lighting, carpet, flooring and wall coverings designed by both new and veteran exhibitors. Being a part of such an amazing event is like a godsend for RE-CO BKLYN as well as BOU-COUP, as we are such young companies, and we are absolutely over the moon about this opportunity..
